Origination of Magic
November 30, 2007With the help of the www.the-atlantic-paranormal-society.com (Ghost Hunters) this is informatively explained to what I always wondered about the origination of magic and how Angels played a part of the origination.

In her article, she helps explain the breakdown of the structured society of Angels, their positions and functions. The last one she mentions caught my attention as it has to do with magic.
Exael: This angel was mentioned in the First Book of Enoch. He descended down to earth and took human wives. He participated in teaching humans magic and incantations.
This is interesting to know because of the history of magic as we know of it from the past and today. All the different levels such as black and white magic and Wiccan, to Merlin, the Salem Witch trials and to Houdini (Eric Weiss).
Much of what is used in magic are tools to help visualizations during rituals and so fourth. Even in the basic Christian religion as well as Catholism, there are things used to aid in faith.
This topic can really go places but having an Angel teach man magic, then there is real magic somewhere!! We just have to believe!! I even wrote a story on magic, called "The Story of Magik". Really about the belief in magic and what has happened to it over the years. It's not completed and has been sitting for some time. I just haven't thought more or found more of a way to further the story but even I as the writer, think it's intriging.
